2009 - 2010 Our 7th Season
May 28-30, 2010
12 girls from our team fought for our Region on National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Levels 4-6. More than 200 athlets on level 4 and about 100 athlets on each - level 5 and 6
from all over the country competed for their Regions.
All of them showed great sportsmanship. The spectacular performance of our team let our Region be the First in the country once more.
Our Head Coach Varduhi Nahapetyan was presented with two "J.O. Championship Highest Cumulative Score" awards (in level 4 and level 5).
This award is given to the best coaches in the country, who prepare the most top scoring gymnasts.

On February 27, 2010 our team hosted Rhythmic Stars Invitational competition.
For many level 3 and 4 girls, this competition was the first in their gymnastics career.

2008 - 2009 Our 6th Season

Congratulations to all our girls who represented our Team and Region on JO National Championships!
The spectacular performance of our 9 gymnasts helped our Region to win 1st place in Level 5,
2nd place in level 6 and 3rd place in level 4!
Erica Wu (Level 5) became a National Champion second year in a row. Her stunning hoop routine was flawless and was marked with the perfect score of 14.00. No other gymnast during last 25 years of JO Championships was granted a perfect score.
Melissa Wong (Level 4) is another National Champion on our team. With outstanding and steady performances and an All Around score of 31.00, she overcame her rivals to become the National Champion and also won a special award for Creative Choreography.
Regina Yu (Level 6) won the Second Place AA. Her clubs routine won her the gold medal, while hoop and ball - 2 silver medals.
For her incredible hoop, ball and clubs routines she won a special "Mastering Apparatus" award.
Bea Edmonds (Level 6) took the Bronze Medal AA in her age group and rank 5th in the National Team.
Her floor routine was so graceful and expressive - it was noted by judges and audience and won her the best score in this category.
She also captured silver medal for her clus routine and Bronze - for the ball.
Emily Chen (Level 6) was awarded a 4th place for her spectacular hoop routine and was rank 11th in the National Team.
Anastasia Sukharevsky (Level 5 - 12th AA), Katia Merport (Level 4) , Anna Grant (Level 4) and Anna Mikhailova (Level 4- 10th AA) all showed an oustanding performance and proved that our team can be ranked as one of the best in America!

April, 2009
On April 17-19, 2009 Erica Wu, a member of our Level 5 team, performed on International Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition "Ruby Stars" in Moscow.
There were more than 150 gymnasts from many countries. Erica took 3rd place for the floor and finished 4th all around. Her beautiful expressive performance was noticed by the judges and won her the title of "Miss Grace" and an honorary prize of the championship.

Our team is dedicated to inspiring gymnastics talents of today and the rising stars of tomorrow in a world-class enviroment.
Join us in celebrating our 6th year as we continue to challenge, inspire and enrich young talents.
Last year 10 girls from our team represented our Region on National Championships.
The team won more than 200 medals on local, regional and national competitions, more than half of which are gold.

Dear All,
In preparation for the Junior Olympic Optional Championships,
it becomes clear that---very excitingly!---we will have so many gymnasts that we will need an extra ½ day for the event
in order to accommodate the athletes and judges fairly.
This will be a great extravaganza! We are inviting members of 2016 Chicago Olympic bid committee to see our 2016 hopefuls in action!
Therefore, we secured Thursday to begin competition and to host the Future Stars test (instead of Monday, April 28th).

Our team is invited to participate in 3 Invitational competitions - Aviator (levels 4-9), Boston Cup (levels 3-9) and Coaches Cup (levels 4-9).
The deadline to sign up for these competitions is December 20.

On Thursday, November 22, 2007 there will be no classes or team practice. On Wednesday, Friday and Saturday all classes and team practices will be at their usual time.
If your family is planning to take a trip during this week and your daughter will miss one or more practices, please, let Varduhi know.

If you need to order apparatuses or shoes for practices and competitions, please, let the coach know as soon as possible.
The deadline for placing an order is Thursday, September 13.

- Level 5 practice on Friday. The new time is 3:30 - 6:30pm.
- Optional Team practice on Friday. The new time is 5:00 - 7:00pm.

Levels 4 & 5 National and Levels 4-7 Classics Championships crown the best Region and gymnasts of the year.
This year we are proud to announce that Regina Yu became our first Level 4 National Champion!
Together with her team-mates Elizabeth Wu, Bea Edmonds and Elen Sukharevsky they made it possible for our region to place
1st in USA. To seal their victory Regina Yu and Elizabeth Wu collected almost all gold medals in their age groups.
Andrea Chirieac claimed the title at Level 6 Classics Championships, followed closely by Nadia Oleinik (second place) and Julia Wang (fourth place).
Our Level 7 star Karen Kravets was the leader in all events and collected all 5 gold medals.

Once again our team captured high places on this tough meet.
The girls were absolutely marvellous.
Confidence of execution of difficult elements, expressiveness and genuine artistry in the performances
of our girls conquered the judges and the audience.
This meet proved once more, that hard work does pay off.

Three girls from our team travelled this weekend to New York State competition - Hana Colwell,
Andrea Chirieac and
Regina Yu. With their amazing performance they won the top places.
Level 6:
Hana Colwell: 1st place AA (1st in floor, hoop and clubs, 2nd in ball)
Andrea Chirieac: 2nd place AA (1st in clubs and ball, 2nd in floor and hoop)
Level 4:
Regina Yu: 1st place AA
Massachusetts State Competition.
March 30 - April 1, 2007
Our team ruled at the MA State meet for Rhythmic gymnastics held in Shirley MA on April 1, 2007.
The girls captured all of the top places in all levels from 3 to 8:

Boston Cup - 2007
February 23-25, 2007
Congratulations to all the gymnasts who participated in Boston Cup International Competition -2007!
19 girls represented our team in levels 3, 4, 6, 7 & 8.
The spectacular performances of our Level 3 & 4 gymnasts were very impressive. Most of the girls competed the first time in their lives!
Our talented gymnast Erica Wu finished first all around closely challenged by the brilliant performances of her team mates - Anastasia Sukharevsky (2nd place AA), Anna Mikhailova (4th place AA), and Rebecca Teslyar(6th place AA).
Regina Yu (level 4) won the hearts of the audience with her expressive and precise routines and swept all the gold in her age group.
The superb performance by Elizabeth Wu allowed her to claim the gold all around. Ellen Sukharevsky (3rd AA), Meredith Gee and Bea Edmonds presented amazing performaces and showed great sportsmanship.
Excellent achievements of Level 6 girls proved their great potential: Andrea Chirieak won 2nd place with the ball finishing 5th all around; Outstanding performance with the hoop won Hana Colwell the first place, she came third AA; Julia Wang took 3 silver medals and finished second AA; Christiana Smith won 6th place with the hoop routine and finished 8th AA; Nadia Oleinik came 4th with the floor routine and got the 6th place AA.
Karen Kravets (Level 7) showed confidence in execution of difficult elements, won 3 bronze medals and finished 3rd AA.
For Rachel Korsunsky (Level 7) this competition was the first after a year-long break. Her performace showed great achievemnts over this period.
Impressive routines presented by our Level 8 gymnasts - Neha Basu, Elizabeth and Jennifer Kazachkov - had add some more high scores to our team's triumph on this competition.
NESA Rhythmics Shine at Winter Star Competition
January 13-15, 2007
New England Sports Academy's level 6 and 7 Rhythmic gymnasts competed in the Winter Stars I
nternational Invitational held in Rahaway NJ.
The girls competed in a tough field of competitors,
including gymnasts from Japan, USA and Canada.
Representing NESA were Karen Kravets, Andrea Chirieac, Hana Colwell, Christiana Smith and
Nadia Oleinik.
The girls performed very well for their first competition of the season and are
looking forward to their next competition which will be the Boston Cup in February.

National Junior Olympic Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships
June 1-3, 2006
We wish to congratulate Jennifer Kazachkov
with the amazing performance on Junior Olympic Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships!
There were about 50 top rhythmic gymnasts for each level from across America attended the competition.
This was the first time Jennifer competed at the national level!
She presented beautiful, full of energy and passion routines.
We are so fortunate to have this talented and beautiful athlete in our team.
Her success is a big motivator for all our gymnasts to work harder to move our team to the new heights!
National Level 4/5 Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships
May 19-21, 2006 Virginia Beach, VA
Three gymnasts from our team represented our region on the National Rhythmic Gymnastics Chamionships:
Julia Wang, Christiana Smith and Nadia Oleinik.
This event annually crowns the National Champs team for levels 4 & 5.
Our girls performed very well and made it possible for our region to move up to the second place.

Thanks to the Head Coach Varduhi Nahapetyan for her hard work and dedication,
who spent long hours putting her best
effort into coaching our gymnasts, helping the girls to excel and achieve their personal best.
This season Varduhi lead the team to the new heights by challenging each gymnast to the best of her ability.
Region IV Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship
April 22-23, 2006
Four members of our team qualified to represent our Region on National Championships.
Our girls performed excellent, showing great sportsmanship.
One of our gymnasts - Jennifer Kazachkov - showed an amazing strength of character performing with a broken foot and presenting spectacular routines.

Our team was definitely a leader in this competition.
Every member of the team tried to performe their personal best and as a result all our girls took top places.
This was the first competition for some of our members.

On March 18, 2006 at MA State Championaship our team won 3 gold medals, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.

On February 25-26 our Team participated in Boston Cup International Invitational Competition.
